What is GREAT STRIDES?
GREAT STRIDES: A Walk to Cure Cystic Fibrosis is
one of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s national fundraising events. It
is a community-based program with mass appeal and is supported by teams
of walkers who represent national, regional and local corporations,
service clubs and organizations, and families. The fundraising ability
of GREAT STRIDES must parallel the growth of our research and medical
programs, while maintaining a low expense ratio. This growth is achieved
by continuously building a volunteer base with corporate and individual
participation.
